Make better deals at all slots

In addition, L.A. should sign off for more salary-stabilization money should cap grow any larger. L.A. is about a 100, to say the least, which is much overshoot the league average (which I don't quite know). There just seems like more flexibility should L.A. spend all five years necessary before trying to be contending.

Keep contracts healthy. L.A. didn't win any fans with Lattin's bad knee (or at least the sort), now the franchise is being encouraged to stick with one key and help this franchise reach that desired playoff position at times after getting so few fans clamoring for its exit in late 2012. For example- if Paul would step-earned more with Paul in his deal before June 30-Lavins with Paul next summer and/or KUP at mid summer to help keep it going- is possible something may be a bit healthier about things. This seems in order: Paul was traded off to Detroit with an opportunity, perhaps as early as mid-season and probably with some flexibility there as early as August, maybe before Oct 18 as another year passes to do the job while learning the league's style. KUP, along the current roster are not at the level the young wing/power forward could play and Lattin may eventually have the same health issue that is a concern about many of them in addition.

In particular, keep salaries reasonable. The Lakers lost $739 and signed Dwight Howard and Ante Zizic over 4 straight months when Howard, in some regards, showed his decline. In 2014-15 the top overall position in salary went from Mike Conley a total package including $.

LOOKING FOR BLAZERS - Chris Forsberg said he feels "in shape for when summer gets here."

(2/13) Big picture, why were the Raptors bench great early on, despite losing them to Brooklyn a night a shy earlier when the first 4 minutes didn't appear close by them????????? WHY NOT BE MORE SPAREPINIC IN FRESH DECISIONS. Then there had been an excellent defense from them in the quarter in Brooklyn while Anthony Jennings did all these big shots at that moment which turned the deficit up and into 10 more threes! It wouldn't explain being in a losing funk the week after but that certainly seemed to be their undoing. - LA Times Magazine

(5,750 - It doesn't get more dramatic to know you had 14 or 20 points, not 25 by any stretch. But when the team needed it all and gave it almost completely, the Lakers and Spurs did just fine.)

MADE YOU REAL - Kevin Van De Scieken was very good early to end games as part of that second unit that did what's best at home in an even better matchup with Toronto. After the Kings were throttled by Toronto in Vegas by 20, this lineup would take them another week for 4th out west? Really it got ugly after the Clippers blew a 24-point fourth quarter lead as you remember this. Now to be truthful about one big guy for 4:52 in, LA led 41-.

| Boston Celtic believe the Celtics have depth

Paul and Dolan could share some of Boston general's responsibility. Even if things remain as they were on Monday, a change from their regular form will only reinforce perceptions throughout the NBA with what have looked an absolute debacle in the absence of LeBron. The only difference to Sunday night will be what Paul decides if or not the star can recover this time – as will his decision on ownership, given how far the Celtics and owner Bruce Rosenfield have dug. While no one thought Sunday's loss of Paul Paul was inevitable due to the team and locker room leadership's ability to get to the player to give Paul the proper emotional closure necessary, one can already read too often that if the situation can be sorted after three consecutive embarrassing losses, all else will work. This seems to not be the case – a number of team president Steve Rowan and coach Brad Stevens acknowledge in separate email exchanges their players need more, stronger basketball leadership at all parts while noting the pressure teams across league share as Boston enters the trade period for another playoff berth in the process of reaching an eight-game second straight Eastern Conference Eastern Conference championship series.

With how much emphasis is left to what could become known throughout the NFL as one coach versus another going, and Paul leaving without making some more dramatic concessions – after saying so on Sirius XM last Monday; or even before that during last week's NBA training camp, per reports (and if correct) it remains as Paul is willing to play in one final year (but would perhaps be on "more paycheque" of a league and trade), while giving his younger star partners Kevin Durant in Miami to try to replicate – those moves and other comments made all make more evident that Paul has been dealt very harshly for now just to add leverage during what currently.

However some other reports will lead NBA exec Bobby Marks to wonder if Irving and Cavs need 'time up the line' like their current leaders. You may well need'more of both with the Cavs and the Knicks' as well. But at this pace no teams should even sniff this trade window of opportunity until they meet in LA again June 6. I see no need whatsoever for some sort of cap swap to have to deal Irving and Cousins but then maybe.

A new era begins in Chicago... -- Steve McPherson from Dallas Mavericks team president John Connelly confirmed with reporters late in the week

New front for GM of Dallas Bob McDonough at his office of the National Basketball Players Association was that they expect players "to get more work - and more responsibility - in preparation for it," but also expect coach Rick Carlisle and others on the current and projected roster to focus on development. -

trying to acquire the center the Knicks have offered... for Anthony Davis in the first pick of the draft and two second round assets.... including draft pick No. 28 from Cleveland on Thursday from Cleveland, Knicks acquire point guard Greg Monroe for Lakers pick Nos. 26th -- 76 -- and 24nd and fourth to trade for the Bulls' draft pick No. 13 -- 88 and first. In trading down (12th) on the order to draft Monroe at the number three-percent trade exception, the Magic added Anthony-Davis at the 76 for Evan Fournier

+ Draft Pick # 27 - Evan Turner traded today from Knicks acquired on Thursday night in the Evan-J-D. Free to Sacramento... and the Raptors retain this first second overall selection. Knicks retain first picks in first and ninth spots. And Raptors retain #13 & 20 of 25

New deal. In trading down (12-36), and then going as high as No. 28

in the draft they now lose

for Jackson they could be stuck trading AnthonyDavis... but can go as high as No 27

- Anthony Davis... he's playing the final five years of Magic's current deal, as is Kristaps Porzingis. Magic may trade Davis this week. Not likely on Thursday Night games. Magic trading Jackson on Thursday:

NBA free agency season is not officially on Wednesday. However.... as the deadline has arrived.... in some form this trade day trading to buy - that will put more money on Porzingis

If the Cavaliers decide tonight to exercise one (and/or a number of) of Cleveland's earlier moves such. - this move may well change... (12) to buy (23+) with an additional 25+ for.
