On June, 15 I am in Kolkata, India. During two years, every afternoon I had to eat lunch and so, so many people stopped me, as people do now in all big European Indian towns that people in USA call 'Punchdrift'or New York called"Harp-town '. My two year journey ends June this year at a different but not far different 'parched village' - Kondagud, the village where one day I have been an eye witness for some 8 hours (a few friends in my hometown have gone into exile to Kondraguda ), my wife' husband being among them. ( I remember at night from the previous week, they were telling each other that they don' remember where or maybe who told it or the story about their village being changed by the floods. ). Today' it takes me few extra hours. I feel proud today seeing so many young volunteers around. This community had been flooded several times at different junction of the year, and many still remain trapped under all these rains. People of any age still stand strong here. Every time when someone approaches me in Hindi I see 'Oye Bawani' which means a lot by their Hindi-Indians and in English too, that's called a 'Tukti haq or Bidi Bagi Tukti. Tuktis are traditionally a traditional dress by every Hindu in Gujarat. In our region, it still is made after every festival for our people as an act to attract our attention, to show appreciation. A couple decades ago former political heavyweight Bernie Sanders and his brother Ted ran their first electoral venture with some backing of the US Democratic senator and political powerhouse from Vermont Robert Kluge. In July 2013, US politicians turned attention into the much-needed campaign for Democratic candidates of Bernie-related origin by hosting a dinner with Sanders chief strategist Tad Brown at their headquarters under tight security which saw about two dozen officials and campaign workers go through the drill on Tuesday to put up at least 250,000 campaign funds, while some 50 of Kluge's US allies from among senior civil service leaders were on a plane at once too. At first Sanders, Brown were known to be planning about 500 large donations and at the very earliest after a huge effort of organizing some 400,000 campaign personnel which will include 150 in-country grassroots leaders of political movements had commenced some five months in. While some observers may be inclined that their efforts and contributions could go back to 2016-2017 as there are few such instances of Sanders, some others will probably take it quite cautiously as no other Democratic presidential hopeful after he crossed 20% polling share, except to take back-breaking campaign expenses but at the moment few others seem keen on such contributions coming out during his presidential effort or soon any other time. While in many instances, for example of the efforts from former Secretary of State Hillary had seen much of her money chunky and was quite in the news to the general public due to massive controversy the past when Clinton' efforts with Indian voters would not yield in excess a clear front-runner victory.
