Rep DeFazio's (R-NY13) comment caught the wrath of GOP officials, his GOP colleagues on Wednesday, including House Republican leaders — among his fellow Republican staffers they called a group of "idiots!"
The line drew scorn at its origins on Wednesday, though the comment never generated too great comment, even among his constituents or fellow Republican offices he's reached (though his comment is often used in election campaign speeches).
